msn/windows live

Right after formatting my hdd, I'v now realised i don't know my msn pw ( or secrete question it seems ) i made them a long time ago an just had pw on remembered. Do they actually do anything if you ring them, or is there another way to get the pw/new one.

Really need it now as its the one i used for my uni app and there's forms for my accommodation that need filling in.

where would they send it?

*was only email i gad when made it so there's no secondary on on the list to send pw to.

Why didnt you write the password and answer down? Afraid it would get lost in your room?

partly, yes (you've seen it >.>) but also if i had i would have lost it over however long I've had that account.

I think I've gone through 4 hotmail accounts :/

I don't like Windows Hotmail Live or whatever its called - for some reason I can't access it at work where I have IE 7 :/

Have emailed them about it and had no reply - that was about a month ago.

I've seen someone on here talking about after theirs got hacked and they had to answer stuff about their contacts etc, that's all I can remember. And this thread was sort of to find out the answer to this and if it was possible or if i was just screwed.

How about ringing them and finding out?

As above they'll probably ask you for details of contacts and the emails that are in there.

Also the obvious like name, DOB, address.
