It really knows how to wind me up.

Apparantly it baby sits me without been asked, it baby sits me and thinks i am incapable of looking at the name and file type of something before accepting it from someone that i actually trust.

Effin thing.

Cant block the crappy chav attack viruses. "omgzzzz, omdaaaaiz have you seen dis pic of you" "so and so would like to send you the following virus filled .ZIP file. accept (alt+C) decline (alt+Q).

But can delete a perfectly safe music file.

Pros, Microsoft should allow some option that allows you to make them a trusted person, or atleast an option that only people who know how to get into Tools > Options can tick to a box that allows them to disable anything microsoft wana do to help.

yeah, it can get annoying - recently i've got like 10 ppl on my list with various forms of "check my pic" viruses that annoy me every 10 mins. :(

Msn hasnt annoyed me that much recently due to the fact im not on it that much any more. Im always in here.

Yup exactly, every 5 mins you get these, either when you or someone else signs in.
 
If my frisnds get hit by one of those, I block them and send them an email asking them to email me back when they've got rid of the virus.
 
Yeah my brother mate who's on my list had this. Strange thing was he had just bought his first car and it said hey mate check my new car out. I was on the verge of clicking then realized it was a rar and blocked him.
 
Simple solution, don't add retards to your MSN list. I get no problems what so ever, and with a mess-patched MSN, it also looks and behaves EXACTLY as I want it to.

No nudges, no voice clips, no sharing folders, no games, no added crud, no display pics. People can talk to me, and I can talk to them.

Exactly! Nobody on my MSN Messenger list has these stupid viruses because all the people I choose to talk to on there aren't daft enough to get things like that.

Also, I'd like to chip in my appreciation for Mess Patch too! :D

I've had a really wierd MSN "virus" of late, only shows up once/twice a week and only comes from my wifes account.

"blah blah blah, click this link"

It shows her account name with the correct account email and it shows her online. But it doesn't show her picture. This is while her laptop is turned off on the sofa. When she actually logs in her messages come through in the same window. :confused:
