MSPaint Annoyance

Hey all,

i regularly post screenshots etc into MSPaint (XP) and I always save as JPG (for the file size etc) so its really annoying that the default file extension is BMP, is there any way to change it?

Paint.net uses .png files by default but i'm not that's much help! However if you use paint a lot then you'll love paint.net

thanks, have tried paint.net but the reason i use MSPaint is due to it being simple, and fast
