msxml4-KB927978-enu.log Cant delete it

I have 2 log files that have put themselves onto my D: drive and I am unable to delete them. I have done some googling and think i have found what they are and it says that it is perfectly safe to delete them... but i cant. when i try i get a message saying "You need permission to perform this action"

Any ideas

Just tried that, still there and wont budge, gonna boot into safe mode and try again

Nope never worked in safe mode either. grrrrrrrr

Safe Mode with Command Prompt? And make sure to login as Administrator, even if your local account as Admin rights.
