What do you guys think of these as a brand? Do you know anyone who has a Norco bike? Im thinking of getting one and a few more. Anyone who has one or has ridden one?

I'm not as into biking as I used to be, but as far as I know they used to be amazing bikes. Just looked on their website and they sponsor some pretty big name riders too.

ive only encountered them recently, they dont suit my xc style of riding, much free/dh arent they? but the spec looks good, they are an up and coming brand in the uk according to the guy in the shop! vv pop in europe and more and more dealers in uk now. But by no means a new brand so service is there i would imagine.

Cheers guys, the bikes go with the theme of the shop to be honest. We dont deal much with XC. More Freeride and Downhill. Im thinking of getting the Norco Six Three for myself. As i can get it cheap cheap :p What im asking is, if you were in the market for a Freeride/Downhill bike, would you think about getting a Norco?

Norco make pretty decent bikes, they are big in Canada since they come from BC and if you are riding North Shore you don't want anything that isn't good quality so I'd have no worries about buying them. The only thing I'm not sure about is if they have the brakes on the right sides, I can't remember if it is just an odd European thing to have them the wrong way round.

I've not been into bikes properly for a while but the Six Three looks reasonably well specified for the price and the design is fairly simple overall so ought to be reliable. :)

a mate has a norco team race vps frame 2005 i think and it feels awesome to ride

not to keen on the looks of some of the new ones though but im sure they still ride great

i ride my brakes 'the wrong way round' The reason i ride with rear on the right is I'm right handed and have better control so i put my rear brake under my right hand.

Right now its a toss up between the Six Two or the Atomik Downhill. There was a few things id upgrade on the Six Three, so no good me getting it.. lol

Norco now make very good quality bikes. It has taken them a while since they first started to build a repuation outside of North America, but they have been getting a lot of media exposure. They have some very good riders on their team and their freeride frames are beautiful to ride, also very robust.

Norco are very nice bikes, I ride with a couple of people who have Norco's in their stable. North American bikes tend to come with rear brake on the right, front on the left.
