Hey all,

Friend has got his old hard rock running and needs a helmet.

Only issue being is that his dome is bigger than a SMEG fridge, about 67cm and very round.

Is there any helmets out there that could fit?

I take a Giro XL as my heads around 65cm, but even this is too small.

Any help would be appreciated :)

I've only ever heard of Giro or Troy Lee being recommended for big bonce's. Probably best to get him to head to a decent bike shop and try as many on as possible.

Lol.

Yeah thing he's going to take a trip this weekend. He tried on my Giro again and while it is a tad too small on the sides, it fits elsewhere.

I think what we may have to do is get something like Giro and lightly sand away 1mm or so from the tight spots

I'm around 66-67cm and had a Specialized helmet that fitted well and from memory picked it up at Evans Cycles. This was a number of years ago though so don't know if they still make them. More recently, I have been using a Troy Lee helmet which again fit my big bonce nicely.
