MTB racing/pro riding

Does anyone at OCUK ride pro on a mountain bike or do you know anyone who does? I was reading MBUK the other day and I wondered if anyone actually makes a living riding pro, or if it just the tour de france/road riding that can pay?

I know sponsored riders, but they don't make a living from it. Very few do.
