Hi

On the same bike how much difference is there between these 2 slip on exhaust with a removable baffle?

Is there a difference in noise between normal and stubby versions?

Just got me some MTC exhaust pipes, What can i say I love them. They where very helpful and got the job done fast also very good price. Cheaper then Beowulf.

Stubby will make your bike sound tad more loud but also could mess with the running of it. I have 280m Pipes on my firestorm with dyno jet and k&n, Run's fine for me

FUEL is also in the same price range so don't discount them. I didn't like the etched logo on the Beowulf cans which I think looks naff. I would have gone MTC if Fuel hadn't had a sale at the time when I was buying. All should have a removable baffle I cut my baffle down so that the can was louder than standard but not too loud, I got a spare baffle for MOT time.

Also consider Delkevic, I have one on my SV650 and was very impressed by the quality. They have a very subtle pale grey etched logo as well which I much preferred over the chunky stick on (or riveted) badges or the cheap and nasty looking Beowulf logo.

In terms of sound I don't think there's much to choose between the different makes in this end of the market, especially without the baffle as it's just straight perforated tube with some wadding packed around it.

Stubbies can vary from quite a lot louder to ridiculously loud depending on the bike and wether you want to run without the baffle.

You are right. The Delkevics look much better than the Beowulf and the pricing is better than the MTC as well.

Thanks

Delkevic are nice looking. Oh and MTC badges are stick on jobs. in packet and up to you if you want to put it on, I did. To my pc
