MTW 2 unspecified error!

Ok i load the game, and i get and unspecified error! and the game stops!

i run a X800 XT and have tried Ati's latest and also omega's. the machine is run stock as a gaming machine and has never crashed or had any error on any other game.

also installed the latest patch!

I had that randomly once in the middle of a battle but not since, with a 7800GT. Have you tried lowering the graphics settings or can you not even get that far?

Did you patch and unpack without deleting the couple of extra files (the descr_geography ones)? That will cause the error aswell.
