just wondered if anyone in here is hyped for this game at all?

is Medieval Total War on the sexy Rome TW engine - screens, vids and spec look fantastic - however if it copies the gameplay from Rome, id be a bit disappointed as it didnt hook me in - like the original MTW did

anyway, something for PC users to drool over whilst the X360 crew get game after game.....
 
Hi mehuk and welcome to OcUK, the only RTS game im currently drooling over is C&C 3, just hope EA don't screw it up.
I have never been a fan of any RTS game based around Rome/medieval times, I just prefer Ion cannons over wooden cannons :p

Aye I had this game on pre-order since it was announced, I loved the first medieval and loved Rome too, its the only game series that feels epic that I have played. Really can't wait for Med 2 TW!
 
I'm slightly looking forwards to it, though my machine could play RTW with decent settings I'm sure it will let me down on MTW.

I hear you on the gameplay though - Rome TW could turn into a bit of an archer fest, you could also get away with doing some really odd things such as charging calvery off spears etc. In MTW1 if you tried to pull a stunt like that you would get wasted in seconds, and archers weren't overly powerful which was nice.
 
Im waiting for this like a cat waiting to be fed :p :D

Bring on The Game I say!!!!

Shame i wont get to view its full Potential because my computer is so crap :(
