Much of an upgrade?

I've been looking around at new camera's and i don't think i can quite justify spending £400 on an DSLR so i was wondering how much of an upgrade would the S5600 be to an A85? Or maybe someone else could suggest a new camera for around the same price as the S5600?

1 megapixel and a longer zoom, personally I wouldn't bother

Also has a RAW shooting mode! (i've never shot in raw mode so i don't know what the means but i'm pretty sure its a good thing!)

Not sure how much your budget is (don't really look at point and shoots), but saw a really good condition Minolta A2 with battery grip for £299. Now there is an upgrade. I use to have a Minolta A1. Great camera.

FYI the Fuji S5500 has RAW
