Excellent pics busterboy - particularly like the last 3 as youve captured the movement and emotion while keeping the picture well composed and very sharp.

Have you ever been to the 'Flappits' in west yorkshire?

I only live about 10 miles from the flappits at Keighley, and yes I have been many times.. :D

I wish I'd had a camera when I used to live up that way - I've had many a day out on an old fantic trials bike on the flappits... and there were always loads of nutters in old landies racing over cliffs and through mud.

Might have to pay a visit next weekend when I'm up at my parents :)

I guess you bought all your bits from Colin Appleyard at Keighley then.. ;)

I used to ride my trials bike up there on many occasions too.. :)

Dougie Lampkin
Steve Colley
Kevin Feeney
Phil Disney etc etc..

Nice set of shots , looks like you had fun :)

A few of them look a bit "blown" out (at least on my system) and seem to have lost detail in the sky & highlights.

I ran the yellow one through the higlights/shadow tool & got this :

WARNING..

Just remember guys.. If you get your camera filthy at these events just put them through the car wash and hang them out to dry.. :D

Back then I didnt have the money to buy parts - our bike (shared between three of us) was held together with spot welds and stickytape :D

1 and 5 are really nice :) I like the angle on 5 specifically, looks almost like the car is about to roll!
