Thinking of upgrading my workstation. its a AMD 940, 4GB RAM, twin GTX460s

What would you recommend for a CPU/Mobo/RAM combo for maximising folding output. I'm only considering a single CPU so Sandy or Ivy - it will be overclocked from what I'm reading at stock Ivy but overclocked Sandy as it hits higher speeds? The motherboard should have 2 PCI-E slots.

I had thought:

Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail

MSI Z77A-G43 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard MSI Z77A-G43

Avexir MPower Yellow Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U16000904G-2CM)

I will be opening a thread in the general discussion about the finer details so for now can I have opinions on the above.

Thanks

*Edit*
I was also thinking about a solid state drive. How is F@H with solid state drives? I will also have twin 500GB mirrored pair as storage, to preserve the solid state drives would it be wise to install F@H on these?

Folding isnt i/o intensive so there is no real risk there if you want an SSD for other reasons.

and again ram is not really required, but is easier to get in qty of 8gb

I think £/per watt the 3570v or 3770 will do you better over long periods

Will you get getting new GPU's?

ive been the same over another gpu, its only a gtx 460 aswell lol not like im dumping a load of cash like afull set up costs! im stuck between a gts450 and a gtx460 , as the gts 450 is half the price of the 460, bit i like matching cards so dont know what to do :(

I know that feeling been agonising over a new GFX card for weeks, must order tomorrow so I can install on the weekend :D

what is it your wanting to order then
