I have a very old charger (about 15 years old) which I love because it has interchangeable plug ends meaning, when I go abroad, I can just unclip the UK side and slide in another section to convert it to whatever country I go to. It is, however getting past it and the cable is starting to break and fray. Other than that, its been brilliant.

I am looking for a new one but it seems a minefield as to what to get and how reliable they are.

I was looking at this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09X1H88VP/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=AXZ3JQ1GVFPIF&psc=1 but I am not sure on the quality of uGreen items.

Ideally I would have went with a proven brand like Anker but they dont seem to do this kind of thing :(

What do you frequent travellers use?

I have a Lencent travel charger. As far as I can tell, Lencent and Ugreen are both cheap Chinse based manufacturers of electronics who have some sort of partnership with Amazon as you never find them anywhere else.

I would say you get what you pay for. Their devices are fine, but not particularly sturdy/well built. If you can find something similar from a more reputable brand then go with that.

This SATECHI charger looks brilliant and the brand is a good one too.

It was on sale on for around £50, I’d keep an eye on that and get it when it comes back into stock.

Agree with the above though anker need to get the finger out and do one similar to that one. I do have one of their multi charger 30w single USB-C that came with the 3-1 cube which is brilliant.
