I keep finding these on laptops and find them very non-intuitive. Tap to click is the only feature I leave on, because to me, that's 'normal' behaviour.

Do you like these features? or do you disable them?

Yes. I like them. When they're done right. There's a world of difference between my Macbook Pro trackpad and my Gigabyte X11 trackpad multi-touch and gestures. Buying fingerworks is probably the best move Apple made. There is nothing compares to a Macbook trackpad and I've used a lot on laptops over the years as well as pointing sticks. The Sentelic touchpad on my X11 for example is absolute horse ****.

I like them because I have a MacBook (Pro), the only laptop with a usable trackpad. Four finger swipe between fullscreen apps, two fingers to bring the notifications bar in from the right, very easy to use and genuine time saving features.

Every single other laptop I have tried to use is unusable for anything other than mouse movements - the pads are too small to start with, and they get confused and think I'm trying to drag, get stuck in their scroll modes etc. Then they wear down very quickly because they aren't made of glass. Horrible experience all round.

I'll be very surprised if Apple's purchasing of Authentec doesn't turn out to be FingerWorks 2.0 - the only manufacturer capable of putting usable fingerprint recognition on their devices.

If ever I'm using a laptop that doesn't have two finger scroll, or two finger swipe (forwards/backwards between pages) I get all confused and wonder why it isn't working!
