multi format games 360 vs ps3

Depends on the game, the gulf in quality probably isn't the same as it was years ago, certainly not enough for me to choose one over the other. I tend to buy single player games for the PS3 and multiplayer for the 360. Purely because there are more OcUK people who play multiplayer on the 360.

100% for the multi player on the 360 the over all quality is much better than the Psn, i hated using the blue tooth headsets (mobile phone ones) always sounded like some one eating a back of crisps.

The official Playstation headsets have good quality, but third party ones are pretty rubbish in my opinion.

I never tried them Kill m8, i got rid of my Ps3 with a 500g hd in side when all me on line friends stopped playing.
Oh an that me current FW at the time wouldn't allow me to play online lol

Although i gotta say imo i always preferred the Ps3 pad to the 360 even thou it was/is smaller it just felt so responsive compared the ms pad.

Pretty much the same in recent years, some are a bit better on the PS3, others a bit better on the 360. If you are choosing a console I wouldn't have this as a factor, more what exclusives each console has.

depends on the game producer,in japan they do games for ps3 and later make them on xbox 360,so they look better on ps3,all games in us are made on xbox360 later move to ps3,so they look better on xbox360

When it comes to JRPGs though, some of the earlier ones tend to be on Xbox 360 first, and then eventually released for PS3 in the future with some improvements or more exclusive content. Then you have rare exceptions like Final Fantasy XIII which is clearly better on the PS3.

I dont think the gap is very big atall. and its often less to do with the system now, since the SDK is pretty mature. And more to do with the developer and unforeseen bugs.

In general I find once Live is involved vs. PSN then just no competition. 360 all the way..

I'm talking more about the image quality and performance.

I recently got red dead redemption on ps3 and I'm amazed how poor it looks against the Xbox version.

As a casual gamer I want to be able to play for as small a cost as poss. Eg no Xbox live. Was red dead lurk a poor port? As I'm beginning to think I should favour my 360 if other games are as bad as this
