Multi Monitor - Gameing on a single

I have 3 monitors.

One as my primary where I game on and the other 2 are older 4:3 monitors that I just like to keep to the side for chats, skype, web browsers etc.

The problem I am having is if I am playing a game (just for example, CS:GO) if I want to then move over to my side monitor to chat on Facebook or something, then the game on my main monitor will minimize to desktop.

Is there a way around this?

play the game in windowed mode ?

hmmm not sure there's any other alternative , what is that you don't like about windowed mode if you don't mind me asking? i have no problems playing csgo on my 27" 2560 x1440 monitor and then my old 24" monitor 1920x 1080 is my web browser and ts and other things i don't find it that much hassle tbh.

Why don't you want to use window mode ??? Once in this mode just make the window fill the screen and there is hardly any difference and you can then tab out to any of the other screens ??? Give it a go and see what it's like.
