As title. I need to update my ageing Iiyama 19". Trouble is it's 1600x1200 and I notice the lack of vertical space when going back to my twin 19" 1280x1024 screens at work. 16x10 screens are a bit scarce.

Should I get 3 x cheap 21" 1080p screens for games (eyefinity) or 1 x decent 24"+ screen for better general use?

How many games use eyefinity properly?

I would go for a decent 24" screen

as a single screen is what you most likely be looking at 95% of the time

Last week I just gone from dual 24" to a single 24"

Found i never really used the second 24" screen so i gave it to my parents to replace there 17" LCD..

There you go, you admit to not using it ;)

For myself I've got used to 'stuff' and windows being open on all three monitors... Makes it a whole lot easier to work with.

I'm thinking more games like NFS Shift 2. In cockpit view, I can't see cars on the left or right. This results in a few crashes and some light swearing.

I was hoping that with eyefinity, I would get to see the side views which would help. I play a lot of driving games.

Are there any games that benefit from eyefinity multi-monitor setup? From a general use point of view, I don't miss having multiple monitors like I do at work. At home, I don't open as much and don't need to read one screen while writing on another.
