am i right in thinking that if i want a triple eyefinity display with 3 IIYAMA PROLITE E2210HDS 22" WIDESCREEN LCD MONITORS i need to get a DPtoVGA converter. I have two ATi Radeon HD 5670 1GB cards installed in CrossfireX. A powercolor and a Sapphire. The sapphire has 3 outputs consisting of 1x Display Port, 1x HDMI, 1x DVI. and the powercolor has 3 outputs consisting of 1x VGA, 1x HDMI, 1x DVI. Which one should i use and what do i need?

Use the Sapphire one as the main card it has the displayport, connect all the monitors to this one. This way you can use crossfire with eyefinity. Make sure you use a DP to VGA adapter, but it seems you already know that :)

i did get one of these: Startech DisplayPort to VGA Video Adapter Converter.
It worked as i tried it on my new monitor however just the other day i was just having a play and the monitor went black and came back on but wasnt in 3 screen eyefinity mode, went back to normal. So does that mean its no good? or do i need one of thos ones with the usb cable for extra power. Hopefully when i get the other 2 they will have HDMI so if DP2VGA dont work i can get a DP2DVI adapter instead.
