got 3x4" 1080p (no vesa mounts so on desk stands)

how does everyone align their monitors to make sure theres no gap ? i did consider running a glue gun down the back of them just to keep everything tight together but its A messy and B likely to cause me all sorts of issues sticking hot glue on monitors

any suggestions as its a pita when they keep moving ever so slightly

I very much doubt glue would work. It would be such a bear to get them in place and then glue. No answer but perseverance!

I used pressure, placing the centre screen in place and then placing the left and right screens, try to cram the screens together, squeezing to sit next to one another to eliminate gaps. One screen was always off as the screen on its stand could be twisted, lining them up it was only magnified.

The picture below shows three monitors, all the same. I remember when trying to align on their stands one would be twisted vertically, even though they are all on the same stand.

I have an ultrawide now, but I still like triple setups, I thinks it to do with compartmentalisation, I like me content to be on separate screens.

I did a mockup of something that could work, but I can't find it existing for purchase.

Mind you, this is small (~6cm wide, material about 0.5cm thick). It should be hinged in the middle so the monitors can be positioned at any angle, then a screw lock to hold it in place. Two can be used to align the monitors on both the top and the bottom.

I tried a couple different quad arms and was never happy with them.

For work ended up with multiple dual vertical mounts, much better, I’ve run up to three sets side by side to give a 6 screen display and it was solid and very tuneable, you can also angle the top row a bit dropping it behind the lower screen to lose the lower bezel too, makes viewing easier with top ones angled slightly.

problem i have at work is that none of the monitors have vesa mounting so on desk stands, and invariably as soon as you sit down you nudge the desk or bump it and everything moves off even a mm or 2. some people might think i'm being petty but its incredibly frustrating
