has any body got any multiple monitor setups, or know of a setup they could suggest for gaming.
What size of monitor, best ones to use and what Gfx card setup, single , sli, and so on thanks :)

i have a triple u2415 monitor setup and find them really good.

sli or crossfire setup is recommended...

i have 2 systems one with triple sli with titans and the othercross fire r290x.

As others have mentioned it really depends on what games support multiscreen.

I have a triple monitor setup, I had 2 screens for a long while and always wanted to try 3 so about 4 weeks ago I did it, I mainly play BF4 and Project Cars and although you may have to turn the settings down a tad, the games run beautifully and Project Cars looks amazing on the 3 screens @ 120/144hz. I also have Xfire ATI 7970's to run these screens which can get very taxing at the higher refresh rates. My monitors are the LG 24GM77 found here... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-119-LG&tool=3
I bought them without any in depth review but am very pleased with them, the reason I chose these is because I can single screen game @144hz or I can use triple monitors and reduce the refresh rates if I need higher GPU settings.
I haven't used these with any other game across 3 monitors so I can't comment on that.

I can't help but feel with large 4k/1440p monitors and 29"/34" 21:9 ultrawide monitors out there there isn't really much of a need for multimonitor setups these days. I tried 3x 24" monitors and personally found it too large to either work or game on.

Dual monitors I find useful for productivity but given the availability of 29/34" 21:9 and 27" 1440p monitors relatively cheaply I think if I was buying now one of them would be a better bet. I can't help but feel multimonitor setups were just a temporary kludge until we could get large enough single screen solutions and I think we've reached that point !

Possibly personal preference and YMMV!

I think on the same wavelength as this. I do however upgrade my monitor once every.. well too long really. :D
