Hi Chaps,
Currently in the market for a monitor(s) and would like some advice for those of us who use or have used 2 or 3 monitors.
At present I rock 3 x Dell Ultrasharp U2311H 23" Widescreen monitors - I game on the middle and use the others for general browsing whilst I game which i find extremely useful. I dont bother with full surround gaming as I am forever browsing and hate alt tabbing out, nor do I do any type of video editing / photography etc. My gaming is generally MMO's / RPG's and rarely FPS.
Next week when I get home I will upgrade my system to the 6600k Skylake system and move my GTX970 into that setup. I have no real intention of getting another / upgrading GPU until next year when I believe new chip set is out?
Budget is not really an issue but I suppose like everyone I would want the best 'bang for buck'.
So the question I keep going over is if I get something large like the X34 for example, I will find myself having to Alt Tab out to browse which I hate doing so would end up using one of my 23" screens for that.
Or, do i look at 2x 27" monitors one for gaming (144hz 1440p maybe?) an extra one for browsing, (I say 2x27" as I would want 27"min and the stand i use only supports upto 2 x 27" max). Of course by the time I price up 2x27" I end up thinking I should maybe just go large again!
Anyone been in a similar situation or indeed offer advice on monitors to look at?
Thanks
