Multi-player Steering Wheel Compatibility

I just want to set up a two-wheel and pedals rig to one PC. (Ideally, I'd like to set-up more but not that clued up on how many one PC will support at one time.) Is this possible and if it is can you recommend any wheels and games that are compatible, please?

A bonus would be any that are compatible with emulated games but any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: May seem a bit vague considering the amount of games available just looking for the most compatibility for as many games as possible. Preference being games such as Drive Club, V-Rally, F1.
