How do you find out if a game is playable on a American and European 360?

I ask as NBA 2K8 is released in the USA on Oct 2nd, while in Europe its pencilled for Oct 26th - do you reckon the game could be imported and played on a UK 360? or will they be in different format?

This probably applies to all games, so is useful to find out :)

I think it is fair to assume both EA and 2K sports games for 08 won't be region free on 360 based on this.

The import site I use test all their releases and post on their blog which are region free. Obviously all PS3 games are region free so they don't test those.

It is already available on import (out here on Friday) and can be had for 33 quid delivered on Import. Bargain (I guess?).

Weird, the site I use has no restrictions on delivery for this game, never heard of that before (although I haven't bought any actual PS3 games imported that were published by EA).
