Multi-region Panasonic DMP-BD83EB-K DVD player?

I need to get my hands on a new multi-region DVD player fairly quickly. Amazon list the Panasonic DMP-BD83EB-K Smart Network Blu-ray Disc Player - MultiRegion and I've been able to find the same player but without the word "MultiRegion" in the description in a local shop.

Sadly, that shop closed two minutes ago.

Tomorrow I can drive over and pick one up. Does anyone have any experience of this player? Is it likely that the one on Amazon has been firmware hacked to make it work or am I going to get multi-region out of the box?

Or any other suggestions for a multi-region DVD player that I can pick up on the high street tomorrow that won't break the bank? This one is about £65.

Usually there is a very long string you can enter to force the multiregion, have a google on the make and various forums to see if this is such a device.

Frustratingly, the local shop didn't have them, despite the web site telling me that they should so I've just ordered online.
