Multi screen - How can I tell whats the max res of a card?

I AM going to run a 3 monitor display either 24" [or if I can find a stand] 27".

How can I find out what the max display res a card will have?

Make, yes [probably ]- NVidia.

Model - no. That's why I wanted to know how to work out resolution.


Also does the PC's CPU have much effect on the speed of the card?

Are you just wanting to browse with it or play games at a high graphics level?
While you might be able to get a high resolution out of a card doesnt mean it will be playable in some games

Why don't you just go to a manufacturers site and looks at the spec. EVGA, MSI, Gigabyte etc...

4096x2160 is the norm max for digital and 2048x1536 in analog.

You can run 3 4k displays in landscape or portrait. 1440p or 1080p is of course covered by that.

With most modern cards there is no more of a limit on each display in a multidisplay config than there is for a single display.

All modern cards are basically able to handle any resolution of monitor you might be getting, how well that'll work will generally depend on the type of connection and what version of it both support.

How well it will perform is a different question though. If you want to run 3 displays with the newer titles at max settings a single GPU isn't going to cut 3x1440p, and probably not 3x1080p either.
