Came across this really cool app the other day. its called https://www.tomahawk-player.org/
its an opensource music app that allows you to stream from various sources such as your google music, soundcloud etc.
As I have recently stopped using gapps because of "play services"
I am now using https://github.com/microg
I might create a thread soon for alternative nogapps apps.
I found a combination of fdroid and aptoide works well. and battery life is amazing since no use of gapps or services.
