Im thinking of getting either one more 24" monitor or 2 20" ones one to sit either side of my 24" dell.

Is it possible to get 3 monitors running of the Sapphire HD 7770 GHz Edition 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card and if so is it easy.

look into eyefinity mate... post above may help a little too

not done it myself yet, but getting there... you'll need an active display port/Mini display port adapter unless one of your monitors has a display port
 
Don't use different sized monitors. Although Eyefinity will work, it will look wrong.
That GFX card will work with Eyefinity but as pr0c3ss says, you'll need an active DP-DVI adaptor to support 3 screens.
 
OK thanks, I thought I would be ok, as the card I have has multiple outputs? After looking at price ill be getting 2 more 24"s.

Ill look for the other post mentioned.

The card states it has

1 x Dual-Link DVI
1 x HDMI (with 3D)
2 x Mini-DisplayPort

Whats a mini display port, as I assume that going to be the issue,

One monitor will hook to the DVI one to the HDMI and one to this Mini thing, is that what I need to get an adaptor for?

Ah I see that there are display port monitors, but there out of my buget, so I need an active adaptor, is that right? Mini-DisplayPort to DVI/HDMI?

Can you confirm whether you are wanting to run 3 accounts (1 on each screen) or 1 account (this is where eyefinity will be nice).

I used to run 3 accounts on 3 screens which was great and if this is what you want different sized screens is not an issue.
 
I run EVE Online with 3 Dell U2410's and have used both eyefinity and as 3 accounts. I makes playing the game with multiple accounts a pinch. I run two monitors on displayport and the third on HDMI.

Eve looks fantastic btw using eyefinity, you have so much screen real-estate its the business for PVP.
