Multiplayer games that will run on low end system?

The first Left 4 Dead should almost definately run. The second one may do as well.

Team Fortress 2 should be fine.

Don't think so - the game makes use of shader model 3.0 for new effects and performance reasons, and the 9800Pro only supports shader model 2.0. Team Fortress 2 will work though as that supports older versions of DirectX.

america's army, though its unreal engine 3 so it might not support SM2.0, not sure though!
