Multiple Bets on bet365...

Hi there,

Ive got an account on bet365. Ive only ever done single bets before.

Im thinking of giving some multiple bets a go on the football this weekend.

Anyone have an account on there and know how they are worked out.

Say I pick 4 / 5 teams to win. Put £2 on each team to win, how are the potential winnings worked out?

What are the differences between the different multiple bets?

For example, Ive choosen 3 teams on there and Ive got the choice of, Singles, Doubles, Trebles, Trixie and Patent.

Which one to choose is where Im unsure...

A single bet is a single bet - Bet £2 pound for stated result (a team to win/lose/draw), you are given odds and if your guessed results is the correct result then you win. i.e Man Utd v Wigan, Bet made: Man Utd to win @ decimal odds of 1.50. You place £2 on Man Utd to win. Result comes through, you make £1 giving you a return of £3 (Your £2 stake back plus your £1 win).

A double bet is:
- You bet on two results to happen, i.e Man Utd to Win AND Aston Villa to win. BOTH results have to be correct for you to win, otherwise you lose.
- Man Utd win odds are 1.50, Aston Villa win odds are 2.00. To calculate YOUR win odds if your 'double' came through, multiply 1.50x2.00 = 3.00.
- If you bet £2 on your double, both Man Utd win AND Aston Villa go on to win, you win £4 giving you a return of £6 (£4 for the win, £2 your original stake back). Any other combination of results except a win for both Aston Villa and Man Utd equates to a loss.

A treble - same as above except with 3 results, and you multiply all three odds together

A trixie is when you pick 3 results, but it consists of 3 doubles and one treble, i.e
Double 1: Man Utd wins, Aston Villa wins
Double 2: Tottenham wins, Aston Villa wins
Double 3: Man Utd wins, Tottenham wins
Treble: Man Utd, Tottenham and Aston Villa win.

If you stake £2 on a trixie, this equates to £2 per line so a total of £8. Your winnings/returns depend on how many of the combinations were correct. The winning odds are different for each line, so winnings also depend on which of the lines were correct.

Thanks for the help. Ive put a treble on 3 teams to win tomorrow. I put £2 stake on each team and £2 for the treble. Not sure about the exact potential winnings as it does'nt really say by the looks of things.

Will find out tomorrow if the 3 teams win
