Hello !
I am searching to build myself a new gaming pc, and I need your advice on what should I pick .So I will try to give you all the info that I can , so you can help me choose wisely .
I want this pc for only one game that I play and that is Eve online . But It has to be able to run 3 monitors and also 4-6 clients of the game in the same time at full specs.
It s only the case and the components that I search . I will buy the displays later .I will use the one that I have for now.
For grafic card I was thinking about 2x gtx970 , but now I was told that the new gtx 1070 is a better choice.
It has to be able to stream while playing , or to record .
I was thinking to spend like 1000-1300 £.
I am not sure if I want to be overclocked ,so maybe not.
It will be an advantage to be silent , because my current pc is verry loud and I can not sleep with it opened . :)
If you need anything else , just let me know !! Thank you !!

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £963.07
(includes shipping: £13.20)

Something like this? i7 and lots of ram for the multi tasking, fairly quiet cpu cooler that will allow for a bit of over clocking. m.2 drive so it should be nice and snappy. Enough left in the budget for a 1070 next week (expecting them to cost between £350 and £400)

Dunno if it has changed but I used to multibox around 4 sometimes upto 6-7 clients in eve and for reasonable quality settings and the clients running smoothly it was ideal to have 2GB of RAM per client and an additional ~2GB over for the OS - it ran pretty well TBH on my 4820K and 16GB of RAM setup and reasonably on the laptop i7 in my sig - though the slower GPU there meant having to reduce quality settings quite a bit.

The 5820K (or possibly Broadwell-E - I'm a bit behind the curve with regards to the 6800K) or so might be a better option than the Skylake CPUs though - I don't have numbers to be sure but when I was doing it the game had no problem spreading the load over all the cores with the multiple clients and more wouldn't have gone amiss - none the least the extra cores might be useful for streaming.

I backed off my overclock when doing it as in Eve Online depending on what you are doing reliability is pretty important - last thing you want is to find your overclock is unstable in the middle of a fight and you are piloting the triage carrier your fleet is relying on.

about the grafic card , am I right that is better to go for the gtx 1070 instead of the 2x gtx970 ?

Probably. At the very least its worth waiting till next week to see what happens with it. Performance wise even in ideal SLI conditions the 1070 will be a match for 2 970s. As for the cost we need to see what the 1070 actually sells for, but at the very least it will drive the prices of the older cards down.

8GB VRAM on the 1070 versus 4GB on the 970 may be a factor with multiple clients - I didn't really ever check to see what the VRAM usage was like.

My first atempt of upgrading failed because of some real life issues , so I will ask again the same question . It will have to be with the 1070 graffic card . Also , I must add that if I will stream or record , I will only have like 2 accounts opened in the same time .
Thank you !
