This post could have gone in Graphics Card, Monitors or Games, so I decided to put it here, move if need be!
Firstly my spec is in my sig, and I have a Dell 3007 30" TFT running as my primary monitor for windows etc etc. But for gaming this screen is a tad too big, and games don't run how I would like at 2560x1600, so I would like to add a second TFT to my grpahics card to have multiple displays.
I have a Dell 2407 knocking about, and that use to run games at 1920x1200 perfectly, so I want to chuck that in. Well I done this, but I cannot figure out how (or if at all possible) to tell my graphics card to plays games in the secondary (2407) monitor and use EVERYTHING else in the primary (3007) monitor? Can I do this? Or will Windows only play the games thru the primary display? I pretty much will only turn the second 2407 monitor on when I play games, I don't feel the need to have a secondary display for windows when my primary runs at 2560x1600
I waded thru the Nvidia Control Panel, but couldn't find anything to let me do this? It asked me what monitor was primary, the order I want them layed out etc etc, but no place where I could delegate each monitor to specific tasks?
Anyone have any ideas? Or would I have to switch primary displays everytime I boot a game up?
