Hi chaps,

I'm using 2x500Mb/s homeplugs at the moment which are fantastic. What I was wondering is, can I get another of the same type and add it to the network? I get the idea that these devices establish a secure tunnel so don't see why you can't have multiple tunnels? The only concern I'd have would be collisions...

Unless it's actually a "pairing" setup?

Thanks!

From what I've seen of the various models I've used - yes, you should be able to have more than 2 devices that talk to each other etc but I'd always check out the invidual specs of the devices you have.

Great news... I'll do some more digging then, thanks. :)

So glad to be free of wireless at last. Even with a strong signal, a quick nosey over with wireshark shows just how shocking it really is. :/

Yes, you certainly can. If they are the same make/model (or billed as compatible with your current model) then you can add multiple plugs. I have 5 running at home and it works beautifully.

Just be careful as there are slightly different standards so a newer model from the same manufacturer may not necessarily be backwards compatible with their old ones.
