Multiple IE in Vista?

Needed to test a site I'm working on in IE 6.0.

I used to use that handy little program MultipleIE to do so, but since upgrading my entire work system here recently and taking the plunge going for Vista over XP, I now find MultipleIE isn't compatible with Vista and won't run under it.

Had a look on the MultipleIE website and there doesn't seem to be an alternative listed there or even a workaround.

Is there any other way to test a site in IE 6.0 on a Vista machine?. I would rather not dual boot or install a VPC.

I have an old laptop here running XP so could use that, but it would be handier being able to do so on my main Vista based machine.

Thanks.

Thanks, yeah, read through that but its a bit of a butchered version it turns out to be.

I didn't notice the email subscription part at the bottom though, so I have entered my email and will await and response.

Cheers.

I know you said you didn't want to go the VPC route but it really is a doddle.

Virtual PC2007 is free, and you can get hold of an XP_SP2+IE6 image to use on it (also free but expires sometime in April, when they'll release a new one).

This is the best option you're going to find short of having a 2nd machine with XP installed.

You can add stand-a-lone IE6 to SP2 with IE7 real easy. Until I installed Vista I had Ie6, IE7, FF and safari running on XP SP2.

Also, amusingly, Vista is not a supported OS for Virtual PC, although I believe it works OK
