Multiple Ipods

Evening all ,

am having a problem.

We have 3 ipods here , but only one pc with itunes.

Everytime someone connects their ipod to the machine it's wiping out the contents of their ipod and uploading whatever the selection was from the previous user.

Is there a way for it to remember whats on each ipod , and when it's connected reflect that in itunes ?

If not how is the best way to handle multiple users ? ( if at all ! )

turn off the feature that updates the iPod when its conected

I could only find " only synch checked items "

Cant find the auto update settings ?

Both my kids have IPOD's and at least four friends come here and all use their I-Tunes upstairs.
I know when I installed I-Tunes I turned off the sync functions.

Give them all separate Windows accounts.

All you need to do is turn sync off.
