Hey,

So i have a HP w19 (widescreen 19" TFT in other words) and i am going to be adding another one to it as i make a lot of music and do a fair bit of image editing aswell as it would be nice to have a seperate monitor for the play list.

Any how, i know to have two screens i use the DVI and VGA port in the graphics card, but what if i wanted 3, 4 or even 5 screens? How do you go about adding those?

Thanks :)

You can add more gfx cards, If you have an SLI or crossfire board, you can put a second card in, You dont run it in SLI or crossfire though. I have an asus board thats not sli or crossfire but has a 2nd pci-e slot in it. Ive had 2 different ATI cards running on it with 4 monitors going.

If you don't have any more pci-e slots, you can get normal PCI cards, but there pretty lame.

Like the man said. Another GFX card or something like the Magic panel which plugs into your GFX card via DVI and outputs to each part of the panel either your desktop in the sections you want and in whatever order.
Put it this way it would be cheaper to buy yourself a Hi-Def Projector. Then everyone can see you typing your passwords in.

See if your graphics card has another out, then you'll have 2 at least.

You can always add another cheap PCI card, that's what I'm doing at the moment to run 3 screens, and could add another if necessary as it has 2 DVI ports.

I think this is the cheapest way other than getting some more special hardware.
