Hi guys, I am planning to create a multi monitor set up in the near future. I have vague knowledge of computers but would like some help from the experts on these forums. Any advice is much appreciated. I will try to provide as much detail as I can to make it easier for everyone. Thanks in advance!
Budget - flexible, but would like to keep it below £1,000 if possible. I am willing to pay more to improve quality, but would like to avoid unnecessary costs. I understand that my requirements are quite demanding and that costs will add up quickly.
Major factors:
1) 3 monitors minimum - I would like to set up 3 24" monitors and occasionally a tv as a 4th. Also, would like an option to expand into 6 in the future (not essential atm).
2) Multi tasking will be essential. The PC will be running many windows at once and streaming videos. A PC that can stream a couple channels and run several programmes at the same time is necessary.
3) Fast streaming is needed, but I understand that is more about the internet quality rather than the pc..?
Any advice regarding the monitors is also appreciated. I was thinking about getting the Dell ultrasharp swivel monitors. Preferably I would like to have the option of both portrait and landscape monitors. The budget I mentioned above does not include monitors btw, monitors will be separate.
