I recently bought a tv which I sometimes use as a second monitor. I have a 7800gtx and both the tv and monitor are 1920x1080.
I don't know what my previous nvidia driver was, but for some silly reason I updated it to the latest 258.96 version, and now it's gone a bit Pete Tong.
With the old driver I could plug in the TV, it would realise and simply extend my desktop horizontally, with the taskbar on the main screen and I could maximise an app on both screens.
Now with this new driver I have to tell it if I've plugged the tv in and setup the dual monitor myself. Half the time I can't do this as the settings are applied but revert after 15 seconds as the 'Do you want to keep these settings' popup is no where to be seen! Then if I'm lucky enough to get both screens working, it stretches the taskbar over 2 screens and when I set something to fullscreen it stretches over both screens instead of maximising it on the single screen.
Is there a setting I'm missing here or has something got a bit wrong?
Thanks
