Multiple monitors on crossfire.

I'm thinking of getting 1900 crossfire and was wondering how multiple monitors work on this configuration. I normally have gaming on one monitor and a web[age or film on the other. Will this still be possible with crossfire or not?

Not with Crossfire, you will have to disable Crossfire and just do it as your doing now with your single card, its the same for SLi to, dual display etc... does not work with Crossfire/SLi, has to be disabled. :)
 
Balls that sucks have to save up for a huge ass monitor to then. Can I run one monitor with one graphics card? Or is it 1 card 2 monitors or 2 cards 1 monitors?

Sorry dont really understand your question

With a single card in your system then you can run two monitors without a problem no matter what type of card they are (as long as they have two monitor connections of course -excluding external slpitters and Matrox gadgets)

With two similar cards in your system, either in SLI or Crossfire config, you are limited still to one single monitor , even with a third pci vga card of somekind its unlikely to work ( it definitely wont work with Crossfire , Ive tried and had it confirmed by ATI) and its unlikely to work with SLI but this option may be down to driver choice , ask an SLI expert.

You can of course have either two non SLI'd or Crossfire'd cards in the same system, and as long as either dual graphics option isnt enabled then you can have as many as four seperate monitors attached (again without using external break out boxes)

Of course its also possible to have one nVidia card and one Crossfire card in the same system, not sure how this would go down with Windows as seperate cards, but in theory shouldnt be a problem - but not worth the risk in my opinion might as well go with both of the same.
 
So I can use each card for a monitor each. Cool the single card is coping but full screen films go out of sinc when I'm playing games on the other screen.
