Well, I am hoping to get a pair of ATi Radeon X1950 XT-X cards, giving me quad DVI output.

I do some coding, and web design, and I have used dual monitors before. I think that getting 4 might be a bit over the top, but I am hoping to get 3 because I like the look, and have found dual monitors helpful already.

just to let you know you can only have 4 outputs with Crossfire disabled!!!

Thanks for that, but I only really want 2D on the system as I am not a gamer, and I don't use anything that uses 3D.
