Multiple Monitors

Hi I have two 8800 GTX I want to use two monitors im pulling my hair because my system will not boot with the two monitors plugged in I have unset SLI as I understand you cant run multiple displays in SLI mode.

Any ideas???

Have you tried 2 monitors on one card? Try removing 1 card and see if that works to start with.

No joy I have tried One card & also swapped the cards over.
I just cant get into windows with the two monitors connected.
Could it be a bios issue???
Or is it sods law I have two crap cards???

I would be unsual to have 2 bad cards, any chance of trying another cheapie card?

I only have access to these two cards i'll give it one more try this weekend.

have you tried updating to the latest nvidia drivers, I believe there is now a multi monitor sli option

I may be wrong, I have an ati card

I now have dual monitors I have one in socket 1 & 1 in socket 2 working fine.

Im now gonna play Crysis while keep an eye on the forum.
