I have created 2 additional photo libraries (Motorsport/Naval History...so no, not porn...) to make management easier for me. I have moved them to an external SSD and performance is great and I can open each library without issue and work on the photos within.
However, I am unable to add pictures (say a downloaded .jpg) into those externally stored photo libraries if I try and move it from the MacBook drive directly into the library on the external SSD. So to be clear, I have the remotely stored library open, I can't drag it from HDD on MacBook into open library, stored externally.
If I move said file to the external drive and then move it from there into the photo library, it works.
Thoughts?
