Hi,

I've just upgraded my components and everything was running smooth until I decided to add a VGA cooler to my gfx card and also decided to connect the USB ports from my PSU to my mobo (as I had forgotten to do it initially after upgrading)

ok the problems...

1. Now that I have connected the cable from my PSU (Hiper Type R 730w) to my mobo (Asus P5Q Deluxe), whenever I turn off my PC the display on my case stays powered up, and as it has a warning if the fan (or HD or Temp) stops working it just beeps continuously!! (Case: Raidmax X-1).
I think this is happening due to the PSU having one of those USB ports used for charging USB devices (mobiles etc.) which constantly require power. But this problem did not happen with my last mobo (an Asus A8V [same case & same PSU]).
This is not the big a problem as I have some more USB ports I can use and so I have currently dissconnected the PSU's USB ports. BUT if anyone knows a sollution to this problem can someone please help!!

2. As I have attached a VGA cooler (Akasa Vortexx NEO) to my gfx card (Saphire ATi Radeon HD4870) it is deffinately running cooler, but the problem occurs when I reboot (either from the OS or the BIOS), and only when I reboot, a power off does not cause the problem. Oh, the problem is that after a restart I have no display on my monitor, I get 1 long beep followed by 3 short beeps which I think is a VGA error, and thus no display and so no boot-up. When this occurs I have to power off and on again which seems to make it work correctly.
I think it may be due to the new VGA cooler being powered directly through the PSU where as the stock cooler was connected to a port on the gfx card itself, this could be causing the mobo to think the gfx card is not working properly... maybe. But i have no idea if that is actually the cause or how to solve the problem.
Any suggestions?

3. OK, problem 3 is a random and annoying problem! My computer tries to boot from my USB drives, this happened before I connected the VGA cooler and PSU USB cable and so is un-related, but had never happened until I upgraded to this new mobo (Asus P5Q Deluxe).
When this happens, the BIOS shows the HDD order as all my USB HDD's as 1, 2 & 3, and my internal as 4, which is why it tries to boot from the USB drive. But when I change the HDD order, the computer resets and it boots properly. I assumed that would be the last of the problem, but it keeps on happening, my BIOS keeps reseting the order of the drives to having the USB drives above the internal!!
This problem coupled with the previous problem of a restart causing the gfx card to be un-recognized means that when I change the BIOS settings... it reboots... and guess what happens! Thats right, the gfx card isn't recognized, I get beeped at and I want to cry!!
I havn't got a clue about this problem, can anyone give me any advice at all?

I've tried to mention specifics where appropriate, but if more information is needed please ask.

Thanks in advance
