Multiple Routers and Network Setup

Hey all,

Moved into my girlfriends were they have real crappy G Wifi. So i've purchased an N Router and also a 20metre Ethernet cable to route to our room.

Just wondering if this is possible.

I was originally thinking,

Cable Modem > N Router > 20m Ethernet Cable > Switch > PC, Xbox and TV.

But can I do this so I get another wireless access point?

This would all be wired. But the WiFi will mainly be for laptops and handheld consoles.

So I would get 2 WiFi networks, upstairs and downstairs.

Yeah apparently the Buffalo N router is quite good for the price. Around £20.

In the end I went with Cable Modem > N Router > N-Wifi > N Switch > PC, Xbox and TV.

Only have 10mbit here so does fine.
