Multiple routers, multiple subnets.

Hi,

My current setup is;

• Internet feed
  • ISP router (DHCP & DNS required for IPTV service)
    • ISPs IPTV service
    • ISPs VOIP service
    • Second router
      • DHCP & DNS Windows server (Home Subnet).
      • SAN
      • PCs
      • Media Players
      • Third Router (DHCP & DNS - Test Subnet)
        • Servers
        • SAN

Is there a more efficent way of doing this (i.e. something to take the place of router 2 & router 3 and provide DNS & DHCP to the test subnet but not the home subnet or the IPTV subnet). Preferably fairly cheaply (HP 1810-24G sort of price level).

My ISP uses VLan to segregate the IPTV and VOIP traffic but having my own DHCP / DNS server on the same subnet as their STBs causes the STBs to loose connection.

The ISPs router only has a single GbE connection, the others are 100Mb.

Suggestions ?.

Definitely no need for the 3rd router. Just get a device that can subnet/vlan and do it all from the 2nd router.

Ok so the question would be on how to provide DHCP from the router to only one subnet.

The routers are both consumer models rather than enterprise units.
