Multiple Thunderbird

Hi guys,

Is it possible to run two installations of Thunderbird?

Currently I have my mail accounts, my work accounts and my Girlfriend's work accounts all on the same Install of Thunderbird.

It would be useful if I could seperate these into different installs.

Obviously I can do this with multiple Windows user accounts but this is something I wish to avoid. Although I would like the same effect with mail.

Another thought is to use different mail client but I prefer using Thunderbird.

Not used Thunderbird for some time, but is there not an option to have multiple profiles?

Yes, I would also recommend to use profiles

Thanks guys, exactly what I was after. For future reference of anyone else who may use this thread some good info here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Command_Line_Options

I have a couple of shortcuts on my desktop and a different switch for each opening each profile as it's a little neater than the profile manager.

You can run them at the same time if you chuck -no-remote into the mix.
