We have a team of 4 office staff dealing and actioning emails in our office using office 365

Lately we have a problem of emails being marked as read so assumed actioned but nothing being done
Is there any way in outlook to say which user has read the message or indeed a better email client for this sort of thing that will pr Movies traceability or who did what?

In outlook you can turn off the 'Marked as read' until they explicitly select it from the menu. Also change the process for the team to use the flag functions - one for each team member maybe, one for 'Dealt with'. Or folders.

Not sure there is an actual audit trail you can have though.

We implemented coloured flags as a quick workaround for each user at a customers to stop this happening, if an email got a coloured flag it was dealt with by that user.
