multiplier bad math

my default multiplier seems to be 6 on a DS3, when i do the maths it doesn't add up right, my FSB is currently 286, so this multiplied by 6 should give 1716, however, it's appearing as 2002, in windows, but 1716 in TAT, whats the deal?
