Multiplier?

Do all cpu's have a specified multiplier? If they do then whats the best way to find out what it is for a certain cpu. Whats the multiplier for a Q6600?

The way I work it out it to take the rated FSB of the processor, 1066 in this case, divide it by 4 as fsb is quad pumped, so you get 266.5. Then take the speed of the processor, 2.40Ghz or 2400. 2400/266.5 = 9 ish, so thats your multiplier. Feel free to proove me wrong
