Multiplyer auto changing, little help!!!

It's the SpeedStep powersaving mode kicking in at idle.

C1E and EIST are the options to disable it in the BIOS if you so wish.
 
ah sweet cheers guys was a little worried about it :)

is it worth disabling or not?

depends wether you wanna save power and save the world :p

my machine thats on 24/7 i have it enabled , my gaming rig its disabled , i dont wanna save the environment when i am gaming :p
 
To be honest i doubt you will save engoug power to warrant it being turned off, if you have a quad or laptop i personally wouldn't bother.

Up to you though.
